We are excited to share that the Access Controller for PS5, a highly customizable accessibility controller kit, will be launching globally on December 6th. Preorders for this controller will begin on Friday, July 21st. Developed in collaboration with accessibility organizations and experts over the past five years, this versatile controller kit is designed to provide a more comfortable and extended gaming experience for players with disabilities, allowing them to join in the excitement of gaming!
Priced at $89.99 USD/$119.99 CAD/¥12,980 JPY/€89.99/£79.99 (MSRP), the Access controller offers various customization options. Users can personalize their layout by choosing from different button and stick cap shapes and designs. The controller’s design allows it to be operated from any 360° orientation, and it features four industry-standard 3.5mm expansion ports, enabling compatibility with third-party accessibility accessories.
The Access controller provides a range of settings that can be configured on the PS5 console to suit individual needs. Users can create up to 30 control profiles by mapping buttons, adjust stick settings, enable or disable commands, and even disable specific buttons to prevent accidental pressing.
