In a sneak peek back in May, PlayStation gave gamers a glimpse into their dedicated PS5 remote play device, now officially named the PlayStation Portal remote player, along with their cutting-edge wireless earbuds, the Pulse Explore. Building upon this anticipation, a fresh addition to the lineup has been unveiled – the Pulse Elite, an over-the-ear wireless headset. Both the Pulse Elite and Pulse Explore are set to revolutionize audio experiences by delivering low latency lossless audio from both PS5 and the PlayStation Portal, thanks to the newly developed PlayStation Link wireless technology. These innovative releases continue to underscore PlayStation’s commitment to providing gamers with top-tier gaming peripherals that enhance every aspect of their gaming journeys.

PlayStation Portal Remote Player

The PlayStation Portal remote player offers an immersive extension of the PS5 experience right at your fingertips. It incorporates the primary functionalities of the DualSense wireless controller, encompassing adaptive triggers and haptic feedback*. With a vibrant 8-inch LCD screen, the device achieves a crystal-clear 1080p resolution at 60fps, delivering the high-definition visual engagement synonymous with the top-tier games crafted by renowned developers.

If you’re in a house where lots of people use the main TV or you want to play PS5 games in another room, this gadget is perfect. It talks to your PS5 through Wi-Fi**, so you can easily switch from playing on your big PS5 to playing on the little PlayStation Portal. You can play games you already have on your PS5 and use the same controller. It even has a plug for wired headphones. But, it’s worth noting that it won’t work with special PS VR2 games that need the special headset, and also won’t work with games that you play over the internet using something called PlayStation Plus Premium***.

Pulse Elite wireless headset & Pulse Explore wireless earbuds  

Pulse Elite and Pulse Explore are the latest PlayStation wireless headset and earbuds announced by Playstation to support even better gaming experiences across the Playstation ecosystem.

• Pulse Elite is their new wireless headset that offers lossless audio and comes with a retractable boom mic and AI-enhanced noise rejection capable of filtering background sounds. A charging hanger is also included with the product for a convenient charging and storage option. 
• Pulse Explore is their first set of wireless earbuds, providing a premium portable audio experience with dual microphones and AI-enhanced noise rejection capable of filtering background sounds. It also offers lossless audio and comes with a charging case. 

Pulse Elite and Pulse Explore will be the first PlayStation audio devices to use custom-designed  planar magnetic drivers for an audiophile-level listening experience normally found in premium headphones for professional sound engineers. 

Pulse Elite and Pulse Explore will be part of Playstation’s ongoing efforts to amplify the audio experience in gaming and make the gameplay experience more immersive through enhanced sound.
