The EA Sports FC 25 release date has been confirmed, with the latest in the long-running football franchise set to launch at the end of September 2024!

What's more, we already know a ton about the latest football game from EA, including details on its new features in Career Mode, Ultimate Team, Pro Clubs and more.

Before we dive into the new game, it's worth noting that FC 24 is still going strong, with promo events like Futties keeping the game active and relevant.

When is the FC 25 release date?

The EA Sports FC 25 release date will be 27th September 2024, EA has now confirmed.

In terms of early access opportunities, players who pre-order the Ultimate Edition or play through EA Play Pro will be able to starting playing FC 25 on 20th September 2024.

Whether you're a FUT person, a Clubs person or a Career Mode person (or a mix of the three), that week head start could come in handy!

Can I pre-order FC 25?

Yes, FC 25 can now be pre-ordered through our website!

You can pre-order the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 Edition or Nintendo Edition, both coming with their own pre-order bonuses.

Which consoles and platforms can play FC 25?

It has now been confirmed that FC 25 will be playable on PC, PS4, Ps5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch.

This, basically, means that FC 25 will be on all the same platforms as FC 24. No major changes on that front.

FC 25 gameplay details

 

EA Sports FC 25 will have lots of gameplay changes! The biggest change is the addition of Rush, a new five-a-side match type that replaces Volta and bleeds into every mode in the game.

On top of that, Career Mode players can now play the women's game for the first time, while Clubs players can use Facilities cards to bolster their team, and FUT fans will be treated to seven times more Evolutions.

On top of all that, tactics have been overhauled by a new system called FC IQ, which will give you far greater control over player behaviour both on and off the ball.
